Barnstone was a one-of-a-kind opportunity that involved transforming a 19^th century barn into a modernized home. All trim and stairs in the home was built using Douglas fir that the client had collected along the Rideau Canal. Beams were made from ash, floors were stained concrete, and walls were constructed using drywall and American clay. The end result was a certified LEED Silver home.
